C/R: Mobile money vendor shot, robbed at Gomoa Akoti

A mobile money vendor with a name  Ebenezer Amoquandoh who’s 31 years old is Reported to have escaped death after armed robbers with pump action guns shot in his left thigh at Gomoa Akoti in the Gomoa East District of central region.

According to the victim, the armed men numbering up to 3 made several attempt to collect an amount of GH30,000 from him he resisted until he was shot twice in the left thigh and that paved way for the armed robbers to runaway with the above mentioned amount of monies.

The victim Ebenezer Amoquandoh was rushed to the Winneba Trauma and Specialized Hospital and was treated and discharged.

The police in the Gomoa Ojobi District has launched investigation into the robbery incident to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.
