A 38-year-old taxi driver Foster Afrifa has been stabbed to death at the F2 hotel at Akom in the Afigya Kwabre North District by unknown gang men.
The sad incident happened around 3:30 am midnight on Sunday, April 21,2024.
According to an eyewitness who was the former Assembly member of the Danase electoral area Hon Oteng, the deceased had a call from his customers who hired his service to the hotel for a program to pick them up from the place at that particular time.
On his arrival at the premises of the F2 hotel, he came across a young guy beaten up by some perpetrators so he decided to rescue the victim but unfortunately one of the unknown gang men stabbed him in the chest with a knife.
He died instantly in a pool of blood.
Information confirmed by the Boaman district police command indicates that one of the perpetrators has been arrested for interrogation.
The police have launched a manhunt for the other perpetrators who are on their heels.
The body has been deposited at St.Patrick Hospital at Offinso for autopsy and further investigations.
